About Me:: Hi, bex here, aka geosprite.
I have been a fan of Genesis, plus Phil's solo career, since I was 12. I can't put into words how important their music is to me. It is the thread that holds the fabric of my life together - pull it... and I'll unravel...!
(Ew. Messy. Don't go there).
I apologise in advance for my sense of humour. It seems occasionally some people don't 'get me'...!I'm English and a Monty Python fan. That's all the explanation I have.
Other interests - when I get the rare chance to explore them - are ancient sites, earth energies and the British landscape. I also get distracted by weather (I watch clouds a lot... one ambition is to chase tornadoes) and space (I keep a daily watch on sunspots and solar winds!).
Apart from Genesis and Phil, my musical tastes are a little eclectic. (Currently I'm enjoying The Jets and Tom Petty, but that will change by next week).
I have one teen daughter who is in college presently. She's my best buddy. She has recently discovered that many of her friends have Genesis in their collections, so I'm becoming relatively 'cool' again. She says she hates the music, but she knows all the words so, on a subliminal level - I win!

May 2008. What a month this will be!! I'm going to Kensington Odeon to see the boys and watch the documentary and... WOOOOO!!!!!! I just can't WAIT.

Argh! My neat and cosy Ning home space has acquired squatters while I was out! Namely - 'Ads by Google'. They weren't there a couple of days ago... C'mon...Who left the bloomin' door open? Humph. Now I have to move the furniture to accommodate the not-so-little blighters. There they are, all smug and orange, listening to my music, playing my videos, generally slobbing round and getting in the way. It's like they own the place. I really hope you gals/guys have the time of your lives. I will get over this soon I hope. I just don't get why they couldn't do it like David Gilmore did with his album 'On an Island'. Oh well, it's doing me no good to rant to you so I will go find a picture of Phil to post for you. :)
