Well, I've learned this kind of art in Ravenna, Italy, and the technic comes from the mosaic technic. I always use wood as a base, and then I put the mirror and the decoration which can be almost anything... little pieces of mirrors (like on your favourite one :)), or copper... it depends on my fantasy... And not only mirrors, but also boxes, jewels, etc.... You know, it's really a special technic, I've learned it from the artist who invented the idea, so we are those two people on the whole earth who do this... ;)
Anyway, I'll try to update my website and translate the texts into English... come to visit it in the future! And if you have any questions, don't hesitate.... :)
