Summer is just around the corner, and it seems like every band in the universe (with the sad exception of our boys) are touring this year. My fiance and I are a bit overwhelmed.
Don't get us wrong, we love going to concerts. But with the sky rocketing ticket prices these days, it's hard to support ourselves and our son, plus fill the cars with gas (don't get me started!), and at the same time go see some shows.
So Yes, Rush, The Flaming Lips, Nine Inch Nails, Radiohead, and King Crimson (T. Le…

My fiancé has an iPod (I don’t unfortunately), and whenever we’re running errands we bring it in the car and put in on shuffle mode. Like me, she has a really diverse taste when it comes to music, or anything else for that matter. So an ordinary shuffle of the iPod for us will go a little something like this:

Mindless Self Indulgence
Yes
Phil Collins
Nine Inch Nails
Ween
Tori Amos
The Police
Genesis
Marilyn Manson
Yes

With that, I give you yet another post about The Lamb…
Whenever a friend or colleague, unfamiliar with any Genesis other than the usual hits or Phil and Peter solo, asks me what Genesis to listen to I am reluctant to mention The Lamb. I don’t think it’s a good place to start for beginners. I usually suggest three albu…
