Haha, thanks for the welcome! :D Despite some things, I think I'm ready... because it all spells out FREEDOM!!
I do plan on going to grad school at some point in time. I just want to see if this is what I want to do for a long time or not...
She's an English major, too?! YEAH!!! English majors... UNITE!! Please tell her that I said, "WAY TO GO!!" and "English majors ROCK!" :)
Hey, bpowerstv! Thanks for the awesome comments on my graduation post - how nice!!! *shuffles feet sheepishly* :D
Your daughter graduated, too! CONGRATS!!!! That's so great! I bet you were so proud that day. What is she majoring in? I'm in English, Secondary Education, and a minor in Spanish. I bet she's excited about it all!!!
Oh, and thanks for all of your offers; I might take you up on that, hee hee! ;D
That's my uncle, my genesis of GENESIS. We went to see Gabriel in West Palm Beach on the last tour. Art is retired Navy Chief and has this thing for climbing lighthouses. So we get on the road to WPB and he says "we have to stop and climb the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse". Are you f*&$ing crazy??? But up we go to the top of this damn lighthouse (the picture was taken at the base of the lighthouse...before the climb). Then on to the show...(Barry Williams Show?). Let's just say the PG show was much better than the climb, but when the Chief says climb, you climb!
Art had me listening to Prog when I was seven and he was seventeen. Over the years, we have seen Genesis, PG, PC, Alan Parsons Project, Marillion, Moody Blues (front row, yay), YES x 2 and Pink Floyd.
But I always felt bad that I did not get to see the early Genesis shows, my mom was funny about letting her 8 year old son go to NYC with her baby brother.
That's where you come into the story. In the famous words of Bono..."EVEN BETTER THAN THE REAL THING"!!
Once a Trespasser, always a Trespasser. I know what I like.
Mozo,
There is no chance in hell I'll be mastering anything with strings, other than a G string, but that takes little skill, or at least that's what I've been told..
