About Me:: Not much to say, really. I'm a forty-something (or other) who just happens to love the band known as GENESIS. I first got into them back in the '70's with the first Live LP my cousins got me at a Garage sale, along with other Genesis LP's.
I was hooked.
It's been a long love affair that shows no signs of quitting, or slowing down.

Life Changes 2: Electric Boogaloo

I said it before, and I said it again; "What a difference a day makes." I just got a new job this afternoon! I was only unemployed for a day! AND....it's on a DAY SHIFT! (No more evenings/Nights) :D AND....It's a Monday-Friday job, with only having to work one weekend a month! Whoo-Hoo! I want to personally thank everyone who encouraged me yesterday when I was feeling so low, and more than a little panicky. It was very sweet of all of you, and I'll never forget it, WOTS

Life Changes

What a difference a day can make. The day started out nice enough. But with one phone call, it changed dramatically. My place of employment for the past few years decided my services were no longer required. So now I'm back to the hardest job of them all...looking for a job. Not too easy for a guy my age. Twenty Five Years

This past July 2nd marks the 25th Anniversary of my marital wedded bliss! Yes, back in 1983 I married a young girl who had what seemed to be no clue as to what she was getting in to. Well, overall, today was pretty good. It was a short day; the students stayed from 8:15 to 10:30 a.m., but I stayed at the school till 4:45 p.m. getting work done! It was okay; I got to rock out to Genesis tunes! Yeah!! >:D

You know, it went pretty well! The students overall seemed really good and respectful, and I just gave them my syllabus, their books, a worksheet about them, and laid down THE LAW!!! Even when the bell rang and I wasn't done, I told them, "Don't move!" and they stayed! I was surprised!!! I think it will be okay. I'm less scared but am still very stressed and worried... it's mostly a genetics thing (thanks, Dad -_-*). I think I'm gonna work on some grammar lessons and then play Zelda and go to bed cos I'm EXHAUSTED!!! x_x*

How was your wife's day? I hope it went well! And I hope you're doing great, too!!!! :D
