Mark Kenyon I am BANNED from the Official GENESIS forum WHY?

Peter Thompson So I wrote a 20 page short story of The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway...

...which was, to say the least, a little challenging, but a lot of fun. I figured I'd listened to it around 1000 times and I had some visuals and ideas in my head about what the story meant. Mia One of my biggest dreams ever has come true!

May 29, 2009: Yep! Today I bought an 1976 Yamaha CP-70 piano!!!!! I just can't belive it... Im so HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!!! It was owned by an "famous" Norwegian artist called Espen Lind. He painted the whole piano green.. ugly green.. But with paint witch is easy to remove.. :) Its missing one leg (will be fixed), the roadcases are also missing and one of the cords for the pick-ups is loose and needs to be fixed.. easy job to fix. Its also a bit out of tune.. but thats very easy to fix as well… Continue

Jim Trainer 23 minutes prog epic - does size really matter?

It appears that size really does matter. Big Big Train have posted a free 23 minutes download at their web site. The track is stunning and features the new vocalist David Longdon sounding very much like Phil in his version of Supers Ready. The track is totally awesome and totally overblown, with brass sections, twelve string mid section, real meletron and loads of special guests. Leon Alvarado GENESIS, more than a band for the times.

I have been reading in several forums about the upcoming live box set. Some fans love it, others don't, either way the discussions seem to emanate endlessly. Yes my friends, the time has come. Genesis is up for nomination in the 2010 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame ceremony. Phil Supper's Ready - in 3 pieces

Sorry I had to split Supper's Ready into 3 parts - fitting 23 minutes into 20MB is not easy!!! The vocal is taken from the remastered Foxtrot and re-synced to my version of the music. Sorry for poo-ing on greatness - but hey - I have too much time on my hands ;o) PS: got my Live boxset today - wish people would stop moaning - it's worth it just for a remastered Seconds Out. Phil Phil singing Open Door (that'll be Phil C !!! )

I am working on a lovely track right now - Open Door. God knows how this didn't make the cut - for me it is right up there and is classic Banks and Collins. Two versions are on my page - One is is the raw vocal - Naked Phil Collins - you can hear Tony playing in the background. I hope you enjoy. I think you can really hear the emotion in Phil's voice without the music cluttering. Ahhhhhh those were the days ;o). The second version is my version with the Phil C vocal added.
