Which songs? Argh!? I couldn't choose. Maybe Evidence Of Autumn would sound lovely as a lone vocal. Or Carpet Crawlers (a Phil version). So many...
I'm none the wiser but, hey, it sounds brilliant! Now if Genesis would release stripped down tracks - just vocals or just keyboards - I'd be there with my piggy bank and a hammer. :)
Ooooh... love the isolated Phil vocals! Always wanted to hear him sing this way. How do you do that?

- Hi, bex here, aka geosprite.
I have been a fan of Genesis, plus Phil's solo career, since I was 12. I can't put into words how important their music is to me. It is the thread that holds the fabric of my life together - pull it... and I'll unravel...!
(Ew. Messy. Don't go there).
I apologise in advance for my sense of humour. It seems occasionally some people don't 'get me'...!I'm English and a Monty Python fan. That's all the explanation I have.
Other interests - when I get the rare chance to explore them - are ancient sites, earth energies and the British landscape. I also get distracted by weather (I watch clouds a lot... one ambition is to chase tornadoes) and space (I keep a daily watch on sunspots and solar winds!).
Apart from Genesis and Phil, my musical tastes are a little eclectic. (Currently I'm enjoying The Jets and Tom Petty, but that will change by next week).
I have one teen daughter who is in college presently. She's my best buddy. She has recently discovered that many of her friends have Genesis in their collections, so I'm becoming relatively 'cool' again. She says she hates the music, but she knows all the words so, on a subliminal level - I win!

Argh! My neat and cosy Ning home space has acquired squatters while I was out! Namely - 'Ads by Google'.
They weren't there a couple of days ago...
C'mon...Who left the bloomin' door open?
Humph.
Now I have to move the furniture to accommodate the not-so-little blighters. There they are, all smug and orange, listening to my music, playing my videos, generally slobbing round and getting in the way. It's like they own the place. I suppose they'll be raiding the fridge next?

Hey!!! Your from Suffolk.Anywhere in particular? I grew up in the Haverhill area,maybe you know where that is..anyway,getting onto Genesis,there was something special about starting to buy music on vinyl,and it wasnt untill the Japaneses CD minitures came along in 1998 that CD for me,finally replaced vinyl,but in most cases the cover art of those early albums has never been really replaced in a CD booklet.The Lamb was fantastic,Seconds Out had pictures on both internal sleeves,which were not duplicated on the Cd booklet,and the Afterglow picture in the centre of Three Sides Live spread never seemed to have as much impact on Cd..oh well..we cant deny the sound quality and convenience of cd and dvd but of how i wish it felt more personal.
