- Not much to say, really. I'm a forty-something (or other) who just happens to love the band known as GENESIS. I first got into them back in the '70's with the first Live LP my cousins got me at a Garage sale, along with other Genesis LP's.
I was hooked.
It's been a long love affair that shows no signs of quitting, or slowing down.

Need A Little Help From My Friends....
I'm making a "Best Of" CD of Genesis, focusing on their Prog Years,
when they were a 5 and 4 piece band. There are so MANY cool songs, but I only have 80 minutes
to play with here.
So, I thought I'd check with you all!
What should I include? I plan to start with "Twilight Alehouse", and maybe add the 4 songs from
"Genesis Plays Jackson", but what else should be on there? I wanna include something from all the Prog albums.
So help me out here, my friends!!

Updating
Just a quick note to let ya know what's up with the Watcher!
I've got a part-time job right now, about 16-20 hours a week. It ain't much, but ITS A JOB!
I'm still planning on going to school starting this Summer.
Although I'm still not sure what I wanna be if I grow up.
Oh, and I no longer have Internet at my house. So my visits will be sporadic at best.
Needless to say (but I will anyway)

Still Unemployed but hanging in there
First, let me just say a big hearty THANKS to everyone who has gone out of their way to wish me luck or encourage me during this particularly rough time. It is very much appreciated, more than I can actually convey. Consider yourselves hugged!

It's been such a long, long time... I haven't been on this site in MONTHS. How has life been for you over there? I still think about you and the others and hope you are all doing well. ^_^
Life has changed a pretty decent amount over here. I'm still at my job here in the cornfield, but little do these people up here know that this will be my last year up here... because next year I'm getting married!!!! My boyfriend Brent proposed to me on the last day of July this year, and of course I said YES, and we will be wed on July 31, 2010, and I will then live with him as his wife 2 hours south of here, closer to my original 'neck of the words.' I'm super-excited! He's a very loving, wonderful, fantastic man who is incredibly smart, sweet, and an astounding musician (and band/choir/music teacher! Whoo!!). ...So I've been doing a lot of planning over here! XD I don't even get time to draw. :(
I'm so sorry I haven't replied to you more quickly. I really hope you're not mad at me and that you're doing well. Catch ya later, Uncle Watcher! :D
