Allow me a little self-indulgence for once.

I've just checked back through my fledging blog, and I'm happy that thus far it hasn't been all 'me, me, me !'.

I've been so ill for the past few days it's unreal. Not ill like 'proper dying' ill, but just everyday ill.

ITV have announced that they won't be screening episode 2 of 'Pushing Daisies'.
Seems a strange decision ?
A spokesperson for ITV stated they had bought all 9 episode of the US show, but that ITV only have 8 prime-time slots available until the start of Euro 2008. And apparently, episode 2 is the only one they can ditch without ruining the storyline.

Ouch !!

Caught myself a hefty whack on the nose yesterday.
The wind was getting up yesterday afternoon, and about 20 minuted before the end of work, a sudden blast
caused the door to my 'air-lock' to slam shut suddenly.

It’s been the best ( and worst ) of British in the past couple of weeks –

First up, we had Liz II open the new Heathrow T5 to a fanfare of ‘big-upmanship’ about how it would herald a new era in aviation history. The smiles in suits assured us all it was the best thing ever
