I'll be honest. I've been trying to avoid the When in Rome dvd.

It never bothered me that it was sold at Walmart.. I like shopping at Walmart and the price is very reasonable.

I was a good fan too. I made sure it was there (4 copie… Continue

There was a movie back in the seventies called "Sorcerer" with Roy Scheider. The music was composed by Tangerine Dreams and it was really good! Also the soundtrack for Blade Runner by Vangelis is one of my favorite sountracks ever. If you haven't, you should check them out.

Heya-I almost fell over in a dead faint when I saw the dvd in my mailbox. Instead of having "OMG it's a dvd" on the label, it should have read "OMG it's actually here!" LOL
Where's the license plate thing? I want to know whom to sue for copyright infringement. ROFL

Thanks for the complement. ATTWT happens to be my favourite GENESIS album cover. When I started this whole thing I wanted to have a strong connection to the material. I was inspired by The Lamb in general but I wanted to capture some of the feeling from the other cover. I remember when ATTWT came out me and my friends would wake up very early to hit the beach and watched many sunrises were the sky looked like that album's cover. Now, thirty years later, on occasion I go on some weekend fishing trips with some friends and witness similar sunrises or sunsets. One of them provided me with the opportunity to take the picture used as the sky on my upcoming CD. One never know if and when one would get to do something like this again so I wanted to make sure I went all-out in doing something as if I had a say in GENESIS. It is a strange way to look at it but it is a major factor in my inspiration. Of course, I know my real boundaries but in my mind I approached the project as a one man GENESIS album (if that makes any sense). I did put my spin into the music but even my personal pieces have a strong GENESIS sound to them. If it all goes well, maybe I'll do a more personal project next where I may have one GENESIS song and a bunch of my stuff. Or perhaps I'll go in a completely different direction. I have a lot of music written in various style. My favorite pieces to compose are those that sound a bit like movie soundtrack material. I also like Vangelis and Tangerine Dreams a lot and have written some music in a not too dissimilar style. Eventually I'll put some of it on my page.

I also went to the Genesis show at Hornet Field in 92. Just downloaded the bootleg from that show too. I also saw Phil's No Jacket Required Tour in Sacramento in 1985. Now that was a awesome show. The San Jose concert was great. The crowd was very much into it. The encore was perfect. I did not hear much about the Arco show. I did see someone put a clip of Domino on youtube from that show.

I almost went to the Arco Arena show. But I had bought tix to the San Jose show first, and then the Arco show was announced. I did not have the funds to attend both. No big, I had seen so many shows at Arco, it was nice to visit a different arena.
