I would go with Ebay, it's a worldwide reach and a lot of customers. Very nice jacket, it should fetch a couple hundred dollars I would guess! Good luck, let us know how you make out with this!

About Me:
I've been a Genesis fan for many years. I used to publish a fanzine in the days prior to the world wide web if you can remember that far back, a couple of fans actually met and married from the 'penfriends' section of the fanzine I published, now that is special! I attended two England Genesis fans conventions in Guildford and London in 1999 and 2001 having travelled from New Jersey USA . I met a lot of other cool Genesis fans at the shows, and conventions and have met a lot of other cool Genesis fans along the way as well.

I was as lucky enough to have been at 3 shows of Phil's first solo tour way back in 1982, I even had to buy a ticket at the venue from a scalper, and it was not the right ticket, it was the first night's show but I got in anyway... that kinda stuff wouldn't happen today. I remember having to borrow my dad's car to drive up and see that tour in December in Philadelphia.. what a memory.

I loved the 'final' tour if that what it was, it was surreal sitting back and watching the band that I've loved for so many years. The sound was great, and so were the visuals, they've never sounded better- what more could you want? My musical Genesis tastes change from time to time, I like "And Then There Were Three" a whole lot but I can't really put any album over another because they all have their own special moments really.

I have a large amount of press clippings that I have acquired over the years about the band and I am thinking of making a Genesis fan's site up to have folks stop by and read them. I will have to scan all of them, so I am talking about a major undertaking so perhaps I can make it one of my long term goals to accomplish this year in 2009.

Hot new car at the Philly Auto show - the Hyundai Genesis

My job is in the automotive field, just this weekend I had the opportunity to see the Philadelphia Auto Show. A car that has been anticipated for some time was attracting a lot of attention. The car was the Hyundai Genesis. What a title for a car. It is sporty and fast, and a lot of people were drawn to it when I was there also checking it out.

One Genesis model on the high end comes with Apple computers built into the car, it was really neat. I wonder if any of us crazy Genesis fans would actu… Continue

Opening night of "A Trick of the Tail" by The Musical Box in Philly - a review

Imagine a time before cell phones, computers, and pdas, way back in the dark ages of the 1970's. I tried to get in this mood for the show and it wasn't too difficult to do once I arrived in Glenside, PA for the show. I arrived late due to missing my exit on the road to get to the show, so finally getting to the show was my first great thing to happen to me and my Mrs. this early new year.

We got into the show after calling the box office and telling them 'we're on the way' please don't sell our… Continue

I am going to see "The Musical Box" on 01-02-2009

I just was reminded that The Musical Box will be in the Philly area on Friday and Saturday night for their "A Trick of The Tail" tour... I was so wrapped up with the holidays, I nearly forgot about the show. My Mrs. mentioned it to me last night and today I went onto ticketmaster and tried to get tix for Sat. night. It seemed as if the show was already sold out... So I got my fingers a typing and brought up Opening Night's show and low and behold tickets were still available so I am in!

Merry Christmas to the Ning group here!

I am wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday and a Happy New Year. One of my pledges for the New Year will be to become more active here next year. Remember (all you older members) the Beatles Christmas messages? I wish that Genesis would do something all these lines. I know it is in the twilight of their careers but the last tour proved that they still have many loyal fans from all over the world. This should be something they post to the members on their 'official' websit… Continue

Hi Rich: Thanks for the friend invite. So I see you are also a big fan of "The Musical Box" from Montreal and have already seen their "Trick of the Tail" show. I was hoping to go see them in October in Sherbrooke, Quebec. Unfortunately my best friend who always accompanies me to these shows (we've already seen TMB 3 times in Montreal doing SEBTP, Foxtrot, and TLLDOB) is currently in California and won't be back in time. To see them in Sherbrooke would have been wonderful. Ah, but who knows, maybe it could still happen. Too bad I have to deal with the border thing.... needing passports or enhanced driver's license. I have a passport but most people who I would want to go with me don't. Oh well. I may even get brave and travel there by myself. Years ago I belonged to a "Hogweeds" group which was pretty cool. Someone in that group actually turned me on to "Porcupine Tree" which I will be going to see in Boston for the third time now this coming Sunday. Can't wait. Again, thanks for the invite.

Hi Rich,

Thanks for the friend invite. I hope you and your wife enjoy your trip to the UK if you decide to visit.

Does your wife share your taste in music or is she like my husband........very difficult to convert to liking fantastic music !! But, I managed to persuade him to accompany me to the Genesis gig in Manchester in '07 and he had to admit that he thoroughly enjoyed the evening! A night I will cherish for ever! :D

See you soon.

Take care Karen.

Hi again Kazz,

Yes, I would like a trip to Scotland someday. Me and the Mrs. are beginning to plan a fall/winter vacation that may take us to London and surrounding areas so perhaps we may get a train pass as well.

Seeing Mike and the Mechanics was really nice, I saw them as well from my hometown of Atlantic City, NJ as well in the late 80's. They played the casinos here and I saw them from the front row of tables at the Tropicana Hotel Casino many years ago, and then outdoors at the Bally's Grand outdoor music stage they had a few summers in a row back in the 80's as well. The show I saw in Philly was really nice as well back in 1986, I remember being in Philadelphia eating at a center city deli and the local rock radio station was giving away free tickets to Julian Lennon's show who was in Philly the next night in the larger 'Spectrum' arena and I got a couple of free tickets to that in additon to seeing the Mechanics who were playing the much smaller venue called 'The Tower Theatre' ... what a memory.

Hey Rich,

You are so lucky to have seen The Mechanics. I never did did get to see them live for one reason or another!! Boo hoo :( But I have all their albums, my fave is Beggar.... what an amazing album that is!! *____*

I hope you make it to Scotland one day, apart from the rain, it is a truly beautiful country..... not that I'm biased in any way you understand. LOL

Will we see you in the chat sometime? Hope so.!!

Take care, Karen

Hi Rich,

Thanks for the nice comment about my page. :) I'm glad you like my choices. I don't know what I would have done without the wonderful music that Genesis and The Mechanics have given us over the years. :)

My maiden name was Baxter ( a good Scottish name!)..... we might be related, going way back. That would be so funny...only kidding!!

Talk to you soon, take care.

Hello Rich, was looking through the photo section , on this site. Thanks for your tips. I must be skipping a step, i try to download a torrent, the bit box will open, and the next step a box with the dreaded red x will pop up and say someting like something is being used , so it will not allow me to download what , i tried to download. Crazy that we are approaching 10 years, in September , the 1999 Genesis convention.Funny how time slips away. My friends and i keep hoping Gabriel , will team up with the other members of Genesis , for some kind of tour, i doubt it will happen.Did you catch him befor the oscars started ? Talk to you soon,Pete.

Hey, Rich!
I agree, that's more than cool! I could never afford the 'Genesis', though. But, I can still dream.......
Did you enjoy the Musical Box show? I saw them in January too. I was born too late to see the Genesis show (story of my life), So I was happy I at least got to see TMB! We had a great time!

Talk to you soon,
