My 10yr old son has recently decided, all on his own, to become more aquainted with "Genesis," (Thank You God!) My children have always been exposed to fantastic music, but I let them listen and make their own decisions on what THEY like/dislike. Anyway, Matt informed me last week his 'new' favorite song was "Carpet Crawlers" with PG. I am realizing, however, his song preference is subject to change, weekly. It changes frequently because I download only a few songs for him at a time to let him listen, and hopefully, appreciate those few for a while,(and because it takes too long and all my patience is needed elsewhere! Ha Ha) Well, this week's pick happens to be.........."The Knife." I think I'll post his 'new favorite' weekly, here on my page, for anyone interested to see. For me, it's fun and exciting watching someone so young learn to love the music I've loved forever. And, I appreciate the new and interesting views of the young. Also, I guess for selfish reasons, I'm more than happy to 'pass on ' a little of 'my music,' because, of course, I know it'll be loved forever by others younger than myself and it will go on and on........
