I am sure you will have a great time. Steve came on at 8pm and played until 10:15. The acoustic set was lovely with ofcourse Horizons featuring including a few bum notes lol. Steve's guitar tone was superb. I thought the keyboards were a bit quiet...

Great stuff! I like the second to last pic - it looks like Steve wants that beer someone is holding up! I'm going to see Mr. Hackett on Friday, can't wait! Los Endos, I bet that will be great, and Firth Of Fifth!

Wow - great concert tonight. Well done Steve and the band. Firth of Fifth was excellent and it was great to hear Los Endos, Fly on a Windshield, Blood on the Rooftops as well. Sorry the photos from my phone are crappy - hopefully someone else will...

Supper's Ready - in 3 pieces

Sorry I had to split Supper's Ready into 3 parts - fitting 23 minutes into 20MB is not easy!!! The vocal is taken from the remastered Foxtrot and re-synced to my version of the music. Sorry for poo-ing on greatness - but hey - I have too much time on my hands ;o)

PS: got my Live boxset today - wish people would stop moaning - it's worth it just for a remastered Seconds Out. God is that album good

Phil singing Open Door (that'll be Phil C !!! )

I am working on a lovely track right now - Open Door. God knows how this didn't make the cut - for me it is right up there and is classic Banks and Collins.

Two versions are on my page - One is is the raw vocal - Naked Phil Collins - you can hear Tony playing in the background. I hope you enjoy. I think you can really hear the emotion in Phil's voice without the music cluttering. Ahhhhhh those were the days ;o).

The second version is my version with the Phil C vocal added. Enjoy :o)

At home where I practise I use Roland TD-9 set. Recording should probably be possible, but at the moment I don't really have equipment to do that. I have an "old school" minidisc-player, but I think I can't convert things recorded with that to my mac. The idea is interesting, though I would have to do quite a lot of homework on those tunes as the result would be live playing... ;-)

Any tunes interest me, but I know best (at least drumminwise) those 80's poprecords, "Abacab", "Genesis" & "Invisible Touch". I quess this is not the most respected period of the band on this site? But theres lot of songs I grew up with among these and I do enjoy groove playing of Phil Collins a lot. Of the older Genesis period "Trick of the Tail" is most familiar to me.

Please check out the music on my page. The blog tells the story of David Longdon, the vocalist many thought would be the obvious replacement for Phil Collins.

Cheers, Phil. I'm not one to fish for compliments, so I'm glad you liked it!! I do look forward to other interpretations of Genesis stuff, and so I am looking forward to hear your attempts. Good luck, buddy and thanks again.

Phil,

Thanks for the kudos about my project and sorry to hear about your sister.

I just listened to your ANYWAY and I have a question for you? Is that you singing all the parts or did you overdub your vocals on top of Peters?

If this is entirely your voice, I am very impressed on how "Gabriel" your singing sounds.

Keep up the good work and sorry again about your loss.

Jim
