I do like the bands he listened to back in the seventies too! But, it's only natural that we appreciate the music Gabriel likes, once we are huge fans of him and dig his music, and he's got VERY good taste in music and every other kind of art for sure...! ;D

But I'm a fan of the early Gabriel years, though...Cause my great love is Gabriel...! XD
I've listened to Peter since I was a kid cause my parents used to listen to him, I believe my father also listened to Genesis but I don't remember well...Anyway, the thing is that I had never really payed much attention to Gabriel cause since I was 7 I've only listened to beatles, for I had fallen in love with them by that time...Then, only last year my father started listening again to some Peter's albums and I suddenly got interested, so I started listening to some Gabriel cds my mother had at home and I began to like him very much...Then my father was listening to some Genesis LP in the same period, I guess it was Selling England or The Lamb one and I just feel in love with it at the very first tunes of the music...! x)
Then I quickly became totally obsessed with Gabriel and fell deeply in love with him...!! XD
And of curse, I got to love Genesis too!

A 24 track system? Wow... I am sure you can record some amazing stuff on that. My 8 track does the trick for me. I didn't know how to post my songs on this page eithe . But I downloaded a way to convert wav files into mp3 files. It's really easy if you are interested.... :)
You can talk about the Beatles if you want. I recorded some Beatles songs too.... but I won't post it on this site out of respect for Genesis .. hahahahaha. That's great that you are able to play guitar and piano (jealous). Do you have any recordings to post? Where are you from?

They're so cute!
Glad you liked the tune. I play all the instruments on my version of "Los Endos", and use my digital 8 track machine to make these recordings. I was in a band in high school but not anymore. I just added more tunes: Los Endos (you heard), Afterglow, and Cuckoo Cocoon. Check them out. It's all drums and keyboards simulating guitar sounds, etc.
I don't play guitar... :(
