- OK well, my real name is Jo, I am a bass player and I love adventure, fantasy and mythology. You can can me an escapist, but living in boring Warrington with a crappy canteen job, you can't blame me!
Another form of escape for me is, of course, music. Music is my life, music is my drug. And that has some truth to it - music really is like a drug to me! I listen to music any time I can, and if my iPod runs out of charge or freezes up (as my old one used to do now and again) when I'm away from home, I almost get the shakes! And quite often, I'll be going through my mind when I'll next be listening to music, and deciding who I will listen to. (In other words, thinking about my next 'fix'!)
I wish I could travel more than I get to, especially in Scotland. I very much believe I was born on the wrong side of the border...
But I often ride my bike around Warrington. I like riding though Sankey Valley Park. OK, I admit that place redeems Warrington a little.
But that's enough blather from me for now!

Grrr I know what you mean about getting there late and missing out-it's happened to me before and bleedin' annoying is an understatement.
I've finally got rid of the stinking flu- yayyyyy- and I'm back at work and allright:))
I put the Christmas tree and decs up at the weekend.
I had a rapturous reunion with Philip a few weeks ago now and feel SOOOO much happier for it- back in my heart making me happy and cheering me up.
I'm on the 77 W&W big beard and long hair Philip at the mo- was watching the W&W DVD before I went to work.

I'm much better thanks- looks like the antibiotics might finally have done the trick and last night was the first decent nites kip I've had for weeks (ie not coughing my lungs up!)
Glad to say me and our Philip have been reuninted in my time off and I've been able to realine my aura and get back to being my usual self:)))

Sorry for the tardy reply but I've not had the 'puter on since I left my last comment for you.
I thought I was dying on Thursday nite/Fri morning- so much so I actually rang my mum to ask for a doc home visit-which I didn't get. The one I saw earlier last week rang up and just said tough basically- there's nothing I can do or give you.
Gee thanks. I got another weeks sick note- and forced myself to go into work today as I felt a bit better over the weekend but got sent home within two hours as I'm still not well enough to be there.
So I'm off now till next Monday- I still feel crappy tbh.

Another of the Gaz DVD's turned up "Sin" very very very good but my word what an absolute bad ass swine he is in that-looks gorgeous but his character is so bad he makes Stansfield from Leon look like a pussycat.
No sign of the spanking one yet=hehhhhhh!!!!

- Well,the stuff they gave me is kinda working- I had my first night in bed last nite without coughing my lungs up but my sinuses are still shot.
Will see how I am tommorow but I might have to go back to the docs again for antibiotics this time.
I do feel better than I did tho.
Another of my DVD's came today "The Unborn" I was pleasantly surprised- it's excellent-a bit gory but not over the top-it's actually very well written with a good story to it.
A personally signed Mr Hackett CD??? How did you get that? Have you met him to get it signed?????

Just popping by with an update.Got to the docs and it is more than likely I have had Swine Flu(thanks very much work) and have been signed off for the rest of the week.
I have some stuff to take which seems to be working.
One of the Gaz DVD's has arrived already- The Backwoods- its very good.
He might be cracking on a bit but still looks great:)))
Ratties are fine too BTW.

Thought I'd pop by and say hello. How's tricks?
I've been off work this week and I'm still off with 'flu-it isn't Swine Flu but yukky still the same.
I ended up with two different rats. Of the three I got one (Sirius) is lovely= he's a right old softy who comes out to be petted but the other two were mental-one took a chunk out of a finger.
So they've been rehomed with a rat breeder who I got two new ones from instead-a bit timid but at least you can handle them without fear of losing a limb.
I've done nothing at all while I've been off=just slept,read had a bit to eat,had the ratties out and watched a lot of films.
I'm having quite a Gaz kick at the mo.......
Have you ever seen "Leon"??? He's such a bad bad boy in that but I do so like him when he's been bad:))
BTW Did you ever get your " Rosencrantz And Guldernstern"???

- The cage should be here by Monday with some other bits I've ordered so I will be going to buy them on Tuesday-I've a half day.

I did think about R & G but have settled in Steerpike and Titus- from the Ghormenghast books which I love.
I do want two boys as the females tend to be a bit flighty and would like some hooded ones are they're so cute.
I guess it depends what they have in I go.
I'm looking forward to a nice relaxing weekend with no dramas,plenty of sleep and a good book.
When is it your off to see THE Mr Hackett???
