All in a Mouses Night?! You've got to be kidding. Great song and I love the outro guitar solo by Steve. Ballad of Big, Snowbound and Scenes from a Nights Dream are good tunes too!

“Daryl Stuermer-Genesis Rewired” is an exciting fusion of Daryl's unique Genesis renditions and the soulful Collins-like voice of French Canadian, Martin Levac. Together they create an unforgettable evening that reinvents the Genesis experience.

About Me:
I first discovered Genesis in 1981 when I heard the title track to Abacab & thought it was great! You could hear each instrument equally and it just had great interplay between Tony, Mike and Phil plus I loved the tone Mike had on the ending guitar solo. After that I had to hear more and started taking my paper route money and buying all the back catalog and discovered Peter and Steve and their great solo careers as well.I've been playing guitar since I was 10 and along with guitar I also play bass and mandolin as well as being a marginal drummer and keyboardist and a fair singer. I graduated in 1992 from McNally Smith College of Music and have ran a music store and teach guitar/bass & mandolin lessons for the last 14 years in my home town. I share my life with my beautiful wife, our 2 dogs and our cat.

Ho,Ho,Ho, hum :-(

My problems with my fixer-upper house have severely impacted my Genesis listening. 2 weeks before Christmas my gas line coming into the house decided it was time to spring a leak. After being financially violated by the plumber my 35 year old Montgomery Ward stove/microwave combination decided to give up the ghost as well. So my plans of giving myself a Christmas present in the form of the 70-75 box set was dashed and no-one else in my family thought to get it for me. (My fiancee wanted to but s… Continue

When in Rome

Picked up When in Rome last week and it was well worth the wait! I loved the extra's, especially the parts where Tony is transposing songs for Phil and working out arrangements, it just shows what a gifted writer and player he is. I also loved the Come Rain or Shine documentary as well. The concert DVD's were great and reminded me just how great the show was at Mellon Arena back in September of 2007 and even though I've seen a ton of concerts since I was 14 including The Invisible Touch and We C… Continue

Thanks for accepting & nice to meet you.
I've read some of your thread replies with interest.
People who appreciate "Say It's Allright Joe" seem to be a bit thin on the ground- always been on of my favourites since way back and has a lot of resonance for me.
Take care

Hello Ed,
(Please forgive me if this is rather long!)
Maybe you can help me as I see you own a music store. I am looking for Moog Taurus pedals for my husband. I could go to our local music store, but I'm shying away from them lately as they seem to forget who supported them early on and may be getting "too big for their britches!" Or there's always EBay, but, I'd rather support a small business owner.
My hubby contacted Moog a while ago and their rep said they're thinking about re-issueing the pedals, but I've heard nothing to support this lately. Have you heard anything?
This may be a long shot, but I've heard their are still some out there floating around. However, I'm not able to spend thousands, (never have that much Ha Ha!) Do not misunderstand me, I AM NOT looking for a discount or a "deal" from you and would expect to pay all charges. I'm in no hurry either. Just thought I'd ask.
I'm also wondering exactly where Greensburg, PA is? We live in NE Ohio about 30 min. south of Cleveland. Are you near Pittsburg? Maybe we'll visit the area sometime and maybe catch a Penguins game. We're huge hockey fans. (Unfortunately, the Penguins black-out all their games here.)
Oh yeah, congrats on the Super Bowl win!!!

Thank you for your greeting. When you look at Come Rine Or Shine - there is a footage from backstage before concert in Katowice, Poland, which I saw - Phil said than on stage:" Fuckin' Deszcz"(rain in Polish)!

Hey, man! Thanks for the comment on my Smallcreep's Day post... it's been a while! :D

Yes, Mike is TOTALLY underrated as a guitarist. Everyone seems to think he just can't do anything on it, but seriously... when you hear "Into The Daylight", you have GOT to be amazed! I really love how bouncy and fun that tune is - it's great to drive to (and also to randomly put lyrics to... "Iiiiiiinto the daylight! Slipping out of the niiiight straight into a fiiiight in the daayyyyliiiight! ...Wow, I have problems... x_x). :)

I'm glad I'm not alone in thinking that Mike kicks butt. YAY! :D

Hope you're doing well, buddy! :)

Ohhh, that's a SWEET disc to sing along to, especially "The Grand Parade of Lifeless Packaging" and "Counting Out Time." I always have a lot of fun with those songs. :P

Keep on rockin', Ed! :D
