About Me:
Genesis has been #1 on my musical list since 1983 when I saw my them as my first concert on the Mama Tour. Raised on a diet of Aerosmith, AC/DC and the Scorpions I was completely unprepared for what I would see that night. The music, the lights, the drums.... From that night on I was hooked.
In real life, I'm a film editor and producer working with filmmaker Ken Burns on various projects, including, Jazz, Mark Twain, Horatio's Drive, Lewis & Clark and at the moment, a 6 part series on the history of America's National Parks to be broadcast on PBS in the Fall of 2009.

Craig

I've had it with winter.

It's official. I'm done. Living in New Hampshire I normally enjoy winter and all that comes with it but this season it's rubbing me the wrong way. Maybe it's the 35 metric tons of snow I've had to shovel. Maybe it's the constantly wet dogs who love to roll in the stuff or maybe it's the 3 complete (though thankfully harmless) 360 spin outs I've had while driving. I'm supposed to be off for New York City today to catch the "Turn it on Again" show tonight at the Tribeca Performing Center. Then I w… Continue

Craig

It was 32 years ago today....

In London, Ontario that Mr. Phil Collins stepped to the front of the stage as the lead singer of Genesis and a legend was born. In hindsight it seems unlikely that a talent such as his wouldn't have found its way to the top one way or another, but who knows. I for one will always be thankful that things turned out as they did. Over the years he has given me many memorable moments.

Happy Anniversary!

Hi, Craig! Thanks for the comment on my graduation blog! It's a bit scary to go out into the real world, but I'm sure it will be okay. I just accepted a position at a high school about 45 minutes away from home today, so I'm getting hopped up about it. :)

Hey, I love your site; it's awesome!!! Take care, and have a great day! :D

Never heard these lamb tracks before, great stuff. My band does most of these tunes and it is great to hear different live versions. I have often travelled up to Tribecca to catch Musical Box shows. Great pics on your page though I am not sure I would wanna be that close to the bear!

Thanks for the compliment!
I've written a variety of screenplays; the commissions have included neo-noirs, historical drama and supernatural drama. However, I feel that I lean naturally toward satire or darkish comedy - I recently completed a satire about the art scene.
Regards documentaries, I've recently been watching a lot of Adam Curtis. I really enjoyed, if that's the right word, his series 'The Century of the Self'. Mind blowing.
I'll check out 'Dig'. One of my favorite music docs was 'The Filth and the Fury' about the Sex Pistols.

Thanks, Craig. Yes, I created the pictures myself - when I'm not writing I'm designing! :)

I hope you find the time to start a screenplay!

Hey Craig,

Sounds like you got a great job - Burns' Jazz was certainly an amazing documentary. I'm a fiction screenwriter, but I've become increasingly interested in documentaries in the last year or so.

anyway, hi there,
