I agree with Hutch. Only the band know the answer to this question. I am pretty sure that the person who started this discussion has no access to their vault so yes come off it and just tell us what the track is because more than likely it is not ...
They played I Know What I like and The Knife.
Hackett certainly played on I Know What I Like and I presume The Knife also.
I thoroughly recommend getting hold of the TM Productions version of the entire show so you can hear how the whole gig tran...
When I listen to disc 2, I hear the opening note of Cinema Show at the very end of Suppers Ready, then repeated at the beginning of track 2. This is a glitch, but to me it's no big deal. I still enjoy the new mix very much and can live with this g...
Oh, that's so awsome! I suppose you have that signed shirt framed or something? I sure would have! ;D Mike seems like such a sweet man, I can imagine it must have been amazing ^^
I'd like to meet the boys too, but I have NO contacts that could help me out X''D My aunt does work for a record label, but they mostly deal with terrible pop music that I wouldn't poke with a stick. :P
Please check out the music on my page. The blog tells the story of David Longdon, the vocalist many thought would be the obvious replacement for Phil Collins.
Oh, that's a nice story! :D I guess 13 is a magical Genesis-age :3 Invisible Touch has never been a great favourite of mine, but there are certainly a few awsome tracks on it! And Duke... ah, Duke. I have it on vinyl, but I can't play it. Which really sucks. I'm looking foward to a nice experience one I get a vinyl player, though! And it's so cool that you've met Mike! Was he nice, what happened? ^^
I WISH I could've seen them live, but they decided to skip Sweden on their latest tour :(( Closest country they got to was Finland, and I didn't have the money to go all that way. I know Phil sais he's not going to tour anymore and all that, but I'm going to keep my hopes up! X''D
Oh I see! :D But if you became a fan in '86, at least you got to be a fan before they split up! X'D I started listening to Genesis when I was 12, so that would've been in 2002. I found the early records in my parents CD collection, and I fell in love with Paul Whiteheads pictures. So I gave it a listen, and since then I've been hooked. ;D Saw Peter in 2003, and that was a big deal for me. Great memory! ^^
Welcome to the community! :) Invisible Touch is my favourite album. I want around in 1986 sadly but I got the original LP recently. Hope you enjoy the community!! :D
Hello and welcome! :D Cool that you have roots in Sweden, it's an interesting country! Lots of bears and snow X'D It wasn't that long since I joined this site myself, and I've had so much fun here already. Everyone is really nice and it's great to have a place where you get to discuss Genesis all the time ^^ I'll send you a friends request, and I'm sure you'll understand all those functions soon enough :D Hope you have a good day too!
Awwww:)))
It's still a lovely story though and so glad you did meet Mike and he appreciated your efforts to moderate your brother's rumbunctuos behaviour.
Like you love them all to bits but have a soft spot for Mike and Philip. I've taken to thinking of Mike as "The Nations Sweetheart" as he seems so nice, gracious and kind and he never seems to have a bad thing to say about anyone.Lovely man :))
I know so many people keep saying the Rome gig in 2007 was the absolute end but I hope some how some day you do get to meet Mr Banks as I call him, I think he would appreciate a chat with a fellow muso who plays keys too and would have something interesting to say to him. If it was me I'm sure I wouldnt have anything beyond what would seem very trite actually.
Tony is one of the Unsung Heroes of this century Brad,he's an amazingly clever and very talented guy and I think he just doesn't get the credit he deserves.
Did you ask Mike where everyone else was? It is such a shame you didn't get to meet him.
Thanks for accepting the addy ^^__^^^
Awwww:))) But meeting Mr Rutherford can't have been bad at all,he seems like an absolute sweetheart.
Now that's what I call lucky:)))
