In all fairness I have not seen (yet and hopefully I will get to see) the Foxtrot show, but out of the others the best for me is easily The Lamb - such an amazing experience all around - up until that show The Waiting Room was starting to NOT creep me out anymore. But after that show I can't get the bizarre image out of my head. *chills I have goosebumps just thinking about it! lol
Defiantly "The Lamb" show, in 2006, which was the first time i saw them. But i have to say the other 2 shows (Foxtrot & Black Selling England) i have seen, have both been excellent as well. I have tickets for the "Trick of the Tail" show in october.(Which should be interesting)
I wish I'd seen a Foxtrot gig! So far I've seen a Lamb show and two Selling England shows, one of them a 'black show'. The Lamb gig I saw was great, but the sound wasn't perfect, unfortunately.
I can't decide whether or not to see a Trick gig later this year; it depends on who they get to play Phil.
The Lamb for me. Just because of the fact that there's no complete footage of Genesis performing the Lamb and getting to see a band do the Lamb with the visuals and to sound that exact was great. I doubt if Genesis will ever regroup for a performance of the LLDOB so I'm glad that the Musical Box was able to perform it with the bands blessing. I enjoyed the Selling England By the Pound tour too but there's just something special about the Lamb. I haven't seen the Foxtrot or Trick of the Tail yet but I hope to in the future if they come back to Pittsburgh.
I am extremely biased towards The Lamb, it being my favorite album and everything. So yeah, I'm going with that.
Since there's no official footage of it, it was nice to see it fully for the first time. Though I would've KILLED to see Peter circa 74-75 as Rael, running around on stage and doing his thing. I've seen the 8mm stuff on youtube, and Peter is obviously way more animated than Denis was. I'm guessing since Peter was out of breath most of the time, Denis chose to cut down some of the running around.
I loved Selling England, but I think they over-toured that one. Foxtrot was great too.
