Hammer Horror

Although Hammer Film Productions was founded in the mid 30's,they are best known for their Gothic horror films of the late 50's through the 70's.The eerie atmospheres and storylines were second to none and VERY English!

I can't work out how to make a youtube video appear. I've tried pasting in as a link and as a picture but the message appears empty!

I've just been reminded of the Hammer spoof from 1966, Carry on Screaming. It's a cult kitsch classic!!

I watched Plague of the Zombies today.A great one from 1966 with Hammer staples Michael Ripper and John Carson. Here's some great news from the Hammer camp:

Several online retailers are listing an eagerly-anticipated second collection of Hammer Films from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, with Icons of Horror: Hammer Films to be released in the US on 14 October.

The 2-disc set will include The Curse of the Mummy's Tomb, The Two Faces of Dr. Jekyll, Scream of Fear and The Gorgon

Oh man, what a great one! Black Sabbath wasn't a Hammer film but could've been. It was Mario Bava. 1963. Classic! By the way,you and Watcher are correct. No one is better than Christopher Lee !!!
