Hello Trespass friends~
I just thought a response to all the posts re our show cancellation is in order.
2 facts: 1) All the band members were willing to play the show, and 2) but with only 200-ish tickets sold it was not possible to go on with the show.. Costs to do a show in a 1,000 seat theater with rental fee, admin fees, box office, security, union stage hands, TAXES!! and our costs for lighting and sound gear and crews, etc. are approx $9500, so with an average of $22.50 per ticket, and only 200-ish tickets sold we had to pull the plug. It would have been financially unsound to expect the band members to take on that debt. Our sincere apologies to those who did buy tickets to the May 30 show. Stay tuned for future news re Trespass. I have just sent an email to our entire fans/friends list. With much regret, the May 30 Scottish Rite Show is CANCELLED. Thank you to all our friends and fans who have supported the band’s efforts over the past few years. I have no further comments or information at this time.
