Biography
Face Value USA is comprised of some of Chicagoland's 'top talent' in regard to the mastery of their individual instruments providing the musical support for Phil 'look a-like' Eric. The members of FVusa thoroughly enjoy the reward and challenge of performing such masterful compositions of artists Genesis, as well as the highly successful solo career of Phil Collins spanning from his first solo release, the classic album 'Face Value' all the way up to his more recent work for the Disney films Tarzan & Brother Bear! Dynamics, and delivery are 'prioritized' during a Face Value USA show, with visual presentation and audience participation being of utmost importance. FVusa blends all of this into an audience participating, energetic, eye-catching, and entertaining show.
Face Value USA has amassed enough repertoire to be able to design each show for each occasion. Selecting a careful blend of Phil Collins' highly commercial hits (In The Air Tonight, Sussudio, Against All Odds, I Missed Again), Genesis' mega-hits of the 80's & 90's (Turn it On Again, Abacab, Land of Confusion, Misunderstanding, Tonight Tonight Tonight), and can even include some deeper Genesis hits which are a bit more progressive for the true Genesis fanatic (Lamb Lies Down on Broadway/Musical Box, Squonk, It's Gonna Get Better, Keep It Dark). This method has been found to be highly receptive of a variety of audiences be it youngsters, more mature men & women, or families at such events as community fests, and business functions. Comment by Dave on December 12, 2008 at 6:22pm: OK, I'm psyched on the January 9th show at 115 Bourbon Street. We will need some nice pics (w/stage light) from that show. If anyone will be there and is capable. I will very much appreciate it if they can share some pics with us. I do have a cousin who has done stuff for the Vans 'Warped' tours, and hopefully he can attend. Also would like to capture on video. Show starts at 9:30 for one set of hits. I have just seen the list we will do, and there are a couple nice surpises in there for all. This is a double bill event with a Bon Jovi tribute New Jersey who will be performing a set after. Should be a good time. Mike527 thanks for everything! Need to change my profile pic, as I am the guitarist... Sorry. Stay warm (those in cold parts). Happy Holidays!
