My ears belong to Genesis

the entire album. I remember skipping school on snow days, trippin out learning the words to every song. Which, i still can do till this day.

This is my favorite Genesis album.
Masterpiece.
Milestone in rock history.
My brother said that this is the weirdest thing he`s ever heard... I just love it.

Certainly not the easiest album to listen to and takes a few plays to get into it..At first I didn't like it all with the long instrumental pieces and sound affects, coming after SELLING ENGLAND BY THE POUND which was much more straightforward rock album..Now it is my fourth fave GENESIS album after TRICK OF THE TAIL, SELLING ENGLAND BY THE POUND, and WIND AND WUTHERING..

Oooo this took me AGES to get into, but when I heard the archive version I just Loved it.

I think it starts to drag on a bit after Chamber of 32 doors, but still an awesome album :)

Yeah, I had a bit of trouble getting into it as well but I have really grown to love it. I think Disc 1 is far better than Disc 2 but Disc 2 still has a lot of good points and is still an excellent CD. I drive 25 miles to work four days a week at four in the morning and that's how I developed my relationship with the Lamb...long early morning drives in the dark with hardly any other cars. It was a good atmosphere for it, I think.

Yeah I agree it is not an Easy Listening album (for prog standards!) like Selling England, and that is what makes me get into it the most, you get to that kind of albums slowly, but when you get there, you can't get enough of it. it's currently (and been for several years) my favorite Genesis album ever.

Cheers

Claudio

This is my Fifth favorite Genesis album. Took awhile to like it that much but I was definitely moved by the story when I first listened to it.

I love all the trippy music along with the lyrics so I took to it right away! Needless to say, it was way out there with Theatrics. I didn't get to see it due to the fact I wasnt aloud to go to concerts till I was 18. I came from an old school italian Mom. lol

The Lamb is my favorite album of all time. I bought it on my 16th birthday after hearing it on the radio a couple months previous...yes, the whole thing. Local radio played it the weekend before Genesis' run of shows at the LA Forum, 1986.

Initially I was overwhelmed by it. So much music and story. There was a lot to assimilate. But, after the fourth or fifth listen, I was completely hooked. I more-or-less played it continuously for two months, only taking breaks to eat, sleep, and listen to other Genesis albums. HA!

All these years later, and it is STILL king. Seeing TMB do it was a revelation.

Being in the tribute scene, we have learned about 3/4 of the entire album. We keep getting requests to perform it in its entirety...maybe someday!
